The saluki breed pet was out with owner Andrew Griffiths on a shopping trip in Bakewell, Derbyshire, when she apparently saw a picture of the famous Hollywood star outside a local store.
After taking in the blonde bombshell's famous visage she appeared to strike a canine equivalent of the pose.
'The picture was outside an antiques shop,' said owner Mr Griffiths.
'Suddenly she went into this pose, it was as though she knew I had my camera with me.'
Asked if the Monroe's four-legged equivalent enjoys the attention, like all good Hollywood starlets he added: 'I think she does. To be honest, she can be a bit of a blonde.'
Salukis are also known as the Royal Dog of Egypt, which could explain six-year-old Kizzie's high aspirations.
They are one of the oldest known breeds of domesticated dog with saluki-esque animals appearing on ancient Egyptian tombs dating back as far as 2134 BC.
