Pippa Middleton's £40,000 Car Clamped In Chelsea

Pippa Middleton may be related to royalty now, but it appears that doesn't mean she's above the law when it comes to parking.

The Duchess of Cambridge's little sister got in a spot of bother yesterday, as her £40,000 BMW Z4 sports car was clamped near her home in Chelsea.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a bailiff immobilising her fancy set of wheels in the swanky area, but it's highly unlikely the fine she'll have to pay will make a huge dent in her pocket, judging by the company she keeps.

Pippa is said to be upgrading her car in the months to come anyway, as her parents are keen to ensure her safety at all times.

According to The Sun, the 27-year-old will soon be in possession of an armoured, bomb-proof £95,000 Audi or BMW for her to run around in.

Her millionaire parents, Michael and Carole, are reportedly planning to buy the car for their youngest daughter after discussing with Prince William's bodyguards the threats Pippa could potentially face.

A source told the newspaper: 'Carole and Michael have taken a raft of measures following advice from one of William's most trusted bodyguards.

'Pippa's car will have all the latest security devices, including armour plating. It will be bomb proof.'
