Victoria Beckham was apparently considered to be a judge on hit US TV show American Idol, but was "too busy" for the role.
Although she had been rumoured to be taking over from Dannii Minogue as a judge on The X Factor, her manager Simon Fuller suggested that was not the case.
"We didn't really think about her for the UK," he said.
"It was more for here [America]. We toyed with the idea but she is just so busy with her fashion."
