Guests looking to experience all of the unique and scintillating flavors of Asia have historically needed to travel from restaurant to restaurant. Well, their fortunes are about to change. Bally’s Atlantic City has announced a partnership with Nanking Restaurant group, a restaurant purveyor best know for boasting ‘All the cuisines of Asia under one roof,‘ and taking Asian Fusion to new and unchartered territory. Eager patrons can indulge in the exotic tastes of Nanking, located on the sixth floor of Bally’s.
“Bally’s is elated to welcome a restaurant of such upstanding quality to our property,” said Joe Domenico, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bally’s and Showboat Atlantic City. “We truly feel Nanking sets the bar when it comes to Asian-Indian Fusion, offering flavor profiles that are second to none.”
With six locations across New York and New Jersey, Nanking has built its well-known reputation on featuring a multitude of Asian cultures on their menus. Chinese, Thai, and Indian cuisines all add to the luster of what is dubbed Royal Nanking Cuisine.
“Nanking is honored to be a part of the culinary excitement here at Bally’s Atlantic City,” said Nanking Co-President Praveen Vig. “Enhancing each guest’s personal dining experience is something Nanking prides itself on; by offering such an eclectic and exotic menu we ensure each visitor leaves our restaurant satisfied,” added Nanking Co-President Sunny Sohi.
Named for the ancient Chinese city that is located an equal distance between Canton and Peking, Nanking’s menu is comprised of equal parts Chinese, Thai, and Indian. Appetizer courses, aptly titled First Flavors, range from Toast & Jam, a crispy paneer ‘toast’ and sesame soy ‘jam,’ to Lemon Grass Beef Lollipops, to an onion and chili, and bell pepper medley known as Crispy lotus Wheels. Nanking prides itself on introducing its patrons to historical flavors so classics like Mongolian Lamb, Hong Kong Beef, Coriander Garlic Shrimp and Kung Pao Chicken have been added to the entrĂ©e menu in order transform each guest’s experience. Nanking additionally offers several all vegetarian options such as Eggplant Da Saun in a spicy tomato garlic sauce, Sweet and Sour Vegetable including pineapple and red pepper, Szechwan Tofu, and the much talked about Wok Fried, which includes a choice of either a Szechwan, black bean, hot garlic, and chili sauces. Specialty items like Crispy Duck, Red Snapper Imperial Fish, Kuril Salmon, add to the menus mystic, while several rice and curry options round out the offering. Guests also have the option of choosing as much spice or as little to each and ever dish, truly marking the establishment’s commitment to tailoring every dish to each diner’s specifications.
Nanking Restaurant ambience is as collective as their menu, melding modern Asian with traditional influences. The restaurant is open seven days a week, with a lunch service beginning at 11am and lasting till 3pm; dinner service will last from 5pm till midnight on week days and 5pm till 1am on weekends.
