
In the very first stage of production of his new film, “Wu Xia”, director Peter Chan Ho-sun has claimed that he aims to rejuvenate the martial arts genre with the project, create something unique to the choreography by injecting medical and scientific elements into it. In some ways, the final result has showed that Chan has succeeded in fusing together the elements that appeal to international audiences with some of the best martial arts sensibilities.
