Study Reveals That IE Users Have Lower IQs

Before you make you mind we just want to tell that this is all based on a new research and we don't want to hurt your feelings. So if you’re reading this site on Internet Explorer 6, you should know you’re not in good company.
A new study from a Canadian company called AptiQuant has found that Internet Explorer users are on average significantly less intelligent than users of other browsers, especially if they’re using older versions. Those still running Internet Explorer 6 have an average IQ just above 80, while Firefox and Chrome users are up at around 110 and Opera and Camino users above 120.

The study was based on more than 100,000 people who took a free IQ test on AptiQuant’s site. It concludes that there’s “a clear indication that individuals on the lower side of the IQ scale tend to resist a change/upgrade of their browsers.” Mashable notes that though IE6 is ancient, and probably “the world’s most hated browser,” with its compatibility issues and security flaws, it is still often found on older computers.
