Jon SecadaIt certainly won’t be “Just Another Day” when two of contemporary music’s most revered artists take the stage at the new Resorts Superstar Theater. Gino Vannelli and Jon Secada will perform at the all new Resorts Casino Hotel on Saturday, July 30 at 9pm in the Superstar Theater.
By age 17, Montreal native Gino Vannelli signed his first recording contract with RCA Records/Canada and by 1974, he had his first US/Canadian hit with “People Gotta Move" followed by numerous hits with A&M Records, including “I Just Wanna Stop,” “Living Inside Myself,” “Wheels of Life” and “Wild Horses.” Vannelli has performed for audiences around the world and for innumerable dignitaries including The Pope. Vannelli is a multiple Juno and Grammy award winner having sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.
Cuban-American, Jon Secada has had an illustrious career as a pop star, Broadway actor, and writer for other artists, including Gloria Estefan, Luciano Pavarotti, Frank Sinatra, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and more. Secada’s hits include “Just Another Day,” “Do You Believe In This?” “Angel” and “If You Go. Jon has earned two Grammy awards and sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
