Is it just a coincidence that three of Russia’s newest billionaires are planning on summering in the Hamptons?

Billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, Russia's third richest man, and the new owner of the New Jersey Nets has been shopping for an estate also in Sagaponack, once named the richest zip code in America. When you have over $18 billion, I guess that qualifies you for the fancy zip code.
Also on the list is composer Igor Krutoy. The award-winning composer & producer paid $23.85 million for a Gin Lane mansion in Southampton. it is rumored that he is going to tear it down and start from scratch. Good for you buddy. By the way, Igor and his wife just purchased a 6,000 square-foot condo for $48 million, in the Plaza hotel the highest price ever paid for a condo. Single ladies on the prowl might want to check out billionaire Russian bachelor, Igor Sosin. Sosin, who owns the Russian equivalents of Home Depot, and Petco, has rented a huge mansion on Ox Pasture Lane in Southampton for July and August.
