Visually inventive, and with Neil Gaiman's able storytelling behind it, “Coraline” is one of those kids films that will have a lot to offer adults as well as kids, although it's likely too intense for some of the child viewers. Henry Selick is also repeating his slick experience when handling “The Nightmare Before Christmas” some years ago with this 3-D stop-motion animated film that was over three years in the making.
